Download of OpenMI 2.0

The OpenMI Standard 2 can be downloaded from the Open Source Platform SourceForge. It is available in .NET (C# sources) and in Java. Please note the status of the different parts:

  • OpenMI Standard 2 is the official version, which will not change
  • The Software Development Kit (SDK) is available as a preliminary version and will be released in 2011
  • The final version of the Graphical User Interface (GUI) will be released in 2011 as well
The following page describes how to download the most recent source code including precompiled standard dlls (C#) and jar files (Java).

Download of OpenMI 1.4

You need to login in order to download the source code.

This release contains the official OpenMI Standard 1.4, .NET and Java versions.

With version 1.4, the Association has split the release into three parts:
  • The Standard, downloadable from here
  • The Graphical User Interface, GUI. Formally known as OmiEd but now called the ConfigurationEditor
  • The Software Development Kit, SDK

The GUI and SDK are now provided separately by the OpenMI Association Technical Committee (OATC) and are available for download from http://sourceforge.net/projects/openmi/.

It is not necessary to download the Standard from here if you only wish to use the OpenMI (via the GUI) and/or develop a Linkable Component, since these files have been duplicated as part of the sourceforge downloads. In case of ambiguity downloads from here override anything downloaded from anywhere else.

For more information about the new release go to Getting Started with OpenMI for Users and Developers page.
