Invitation to submit abstracts for ICHE 2014 conference in Hamburg, Germany

ICHE 2014, Hamburg: The 11th International Conference on Hydroscience and Engineering ICHE 2014 will be a place to discuss latest developments in Integrated Modelling (IM). About 400 participants mostly from academia and some from public authorities are being expected in Hamburg from 28. September to 2. October 2014.
Under the conference motto "Hydro-Engineering for Environmental Challenges" the ICHE will focus on a number of topics related to recent research activities in Germany and the EU such as
  • Adaptation strategies to climate change (KLIWAS - funded by the German ministry of transport)
  • Morphodynamics, funded as research cluster by the German ministry of education and research and
  • Marine information infrastructures related to the national and European systems such as WISE, EMODnet etc. (MDI-DE in Germany)
Technical developments as well as use cases of Integrated Modelling, e.g. with the OpenMI, can be presented. The organizing committee is proud that Roger Moore, the chairman of the OpenMI Association, will give a keynote speech to trigger discussion.
We would like to invite the community to submit abstracts on Contributions could amongst others fit into “Integrated Modelling of Hydro-Systems” or “Information Management and Decision Support Systems” which is related to the marine information infrastructures branch. The dead-line for abstract submission has been extended to 15. February 2014.
